Charis Ridge

Charis Ridge is a community-based facility that can serve up to 9 adolescent males, ranging in age from 12 to 18 years of age.  Located on 2.5 acres in Troutdale, Oregon, Charis Ridge provides a program that emphasizes behavioral rehabilitation, skill building, and independence.  Charis Ridge is contracted with the Oregon Youth Authority and serves primarily adjudicated youth.  The mission of Charis Ridge is embodied in its name:

Caring

Hope

Accountability

Responsibility

Independance

Success

Our desire is to help the youth in the program confront their problems and gain an awareness of the effect that those issues have had, not only on their lives but on the lives of their families, their victims and on society in general.  We encourage them to examine their thought patterns and explore their values, while at the same time helping them identify and develop the skills they will need to make responsible decisions.
