Son Lodge

An additional service offered by Youth Guidance is the Son Lodge Retreat Center located at the base of Mt. Hood in Welches, OR.  The Lodge is a year round retreat center for groups of up to 50 people offering a warm, inviting atmosphere for recreation, relaxation and meetings.  The Lodge is surrounded by eight acres of timber and is situated next to the clear and cold Salmon River.  At only thirteen miles from Oregon's premier skiing areas, Son Lodge can be a total retreat center or a home base when utilizing the assortment of nearby recreational resources.

From a single day meeting to a multi-night retreat, Son Lodge accommodates your needs with these recreational possibilities:

  • Swimming pool (summer months only)

  • Volleyball, basketball court

  • Ping pong

  • Hiking

  • Softball

  • Miniature golf

  • Skiing/snow play

  • Golf

  • Tennis

  • Mountain climbing near by

The Lodge has three main dormitories and a large, well-equipped kitchen.  Groups need to provide their own food and meal preparation.
